They have imposed strict regulations for Tele-marketers and heavy fines for those who violate the rules.................

Yes please not that if you are charging(paying) for call to Call to customer care, beware!
TRAI launched a toll free number that is 198 which is for all networks toll free. Like Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Tata, Vediocon etc Companies are
charging for call to customer care @ 50paisa/3minutes. But no need toll call thier customer care. just dail 198 which is provided by TRAI.
Here, you can no need to wait, can apply for many complains. But this number is only for complains not for that compnies offers, schemes etc. This no. will hear your complains only.

this is too a great step by TRAI.
What is Number Portibility?
you can change your network without changing your number. ! Nice Na......
If you port your number, you have to pay only a small amout which is 19 rupees.


first of all follow the instructions for port the number:


1. Your Number which you want to port should be 6 month old. The new numbers cant be port. It will reject later.
2. If your number is older than 6 month, just send an sms by writing PORTNumber to 1900(toll free).
3. You will recieve a code instantly. Note that code ( That code is valid for 21 days)
4. Go to operator office( in which you want to port your old number) with id docoments and code which you recive for port.

The mushroom growth of fake universities / vishwavidyalayas is a matter of great concern of the University Grants Commission having responsibility of maintaining standards in Higher Education in the country. Fake Institutes for Technical Education

AICTE, New Delhi

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been established by and Act of Parliament (Act 52 of1987) for proper planning and coordinated and integrated development of technical education and maintenance of standards in the technical education system of the country.

The AICTE is also empowered by the Parliament Act to grant approval for establishment of institutions for conduct of technical courses without prior approval from the AICTE . The AICTE has published a directory of technical institutes approved for the conduct of technical courses and is available at its Head Quarters at New Delhi and its 7 regional offices located at Chandigarh, Kanpur,Kolkata , Bhopal, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai .The AICTE approved list of technical institutes and courses are available in the AICTE website at www.aicte.ernet.in

The AICTE inter alia has also been entrusted with the responsibility of taking appropriate steps to prevent commercialization of technical education at all levels. It has come to the notice of the AICTE that certain institutions have put up advertisements inviting applications for admission to technical courses, which are started without prior approval from the AICTE.

It is illegal to conduct technical courses without statutory approval from the AICTE and appropriate action will be taken against such institutions.

In this regard, the general public is cautioned not to take admission into such unapproved courses, since such courses are not valid for employment in Govt./Govt. aided organisations.
